Morrissey Dolls ( http://www.morrisseydolls.com ) has some new patterns online for AGs, including a '50s poodle skirt set. I thought this might be of interest to those of you who had mentioned wanting to create a '50s AG. I made the outfit in their My Twinn size, viewable in my album:

I *really* liked this pattern . . . it was easy to do and turned out well.

(You can see their new Jogging Set and Cozy Sleepwear Set in my album, too (I made it in My Twinn size, but they have them for AGs now.))

The doll on their main page right now is my My Twinn!

Thanks for the info. Melissa - I do look forward to a day when I will have time to sew and get to try out sewing for our dolls for the first time! All of your dolls and their outfits looked wonderful, and how neat that Morrisey has your picture featured on their site. I know you have said that the Morrisey patterns are the best for ease of sewing and for a good fit for AG dolls, so I look forward to trying them some day.

Melissa I'm glad to see you post about the patterns. I was up last night and got their e-mail and rushed over to check out their newest patterns. I felt like a kid in a candy shop! I also noticed your MyTwinn outfit highlighted on the front page of the website. It is very pretty and you did an awesome job on it! I have been meaning to email you, but this is our busiest time of the year and I just haven't had the time to answer your last email properly. I apologize Hope everything is going well for you

Melissa your dresses are gorgeous!
I especially like the butterfly dress and the tweed dress with hat and the jogger with the hood and the snow suits. The picture of your girls with the snow suits is adorable.

Congratulations!

Thank you so much, Miki, Kim, and Shawn!

Shawn, I think you would really enjoy the patterns. I taught myself how to sew using them. (My first few tries I had a hard time understanding how things like pants even went together; I was hopeless!)

As another member has mentioned on here prior to this, they had experienced some family tragedy. It is really nice to see them back.

The shoes pattern looks interesting, too (not too new, but from their last round of new patterns, I think). If anyone has tried it, please let me know what you think. My machine doesn't allow sewing on fun foam, so I'd love to know if it can be done by hand or glue.

I look forward to hearing from you, Kim!
